I'm here, and I actually work with Amy (chick above me on this post, I think). It's great to have a profession that will accept you w/ tattoos and piercings and slightly scary clothing (at least my boss has), altho you still have to go thru the rigamarole o' questions (r u a satanist? what does your tattoo mean?)

05/10Yeah, i love having food in the back room and plugging in my cd player behind the front desk while working on choreography. Our library is so big that you can only hear the music when you come up to the circulation desk. So no one complains and I love to be able to wear what I want. The only problem that I have is that some times when I am on line at the front desk people think that I am there to give advise or something so they end up venting and telling me their life problems . So I end up going into my crystal ball persona. -

05/23funny how I forget to go through all the tribes I belong to...sigh...I wish this tribe were busier.
Anyway, I'm hoping to get a library job again soon. I truly miss it as my profession.
